Peter’s Camera — Canon PowerShot G5
Here’s a picture of the camera I recently bought—the Canon PowerShot G5 5.0 megapixel digital camera (no, I did’t take the picture myself). It’s been so much fun having a digital camera, especially in having the freedom to take as many pictures as I want. In fact, I’ve been averaging over a hundred pictures a day! However, since they are digital, I don’t keep all of them; but after four months, I’ve clicked the shutter well over four thousand times!
I attended a week-long photography course, Prizewinning Photography, sponsored by the Institute in Photographic Studies, not too long ago. While there, I learned a lot about the different camera features, how they work, and what goes into creating the perfect picture. Granted, one week is not a lot of time to grasp all that new information, so I am still learing as I go along. However, the IPS course was very valuable to me, and I’m so glad I was able to attend. Click here to see some of my favorite pictures I took during the course, taken with this camera.
